Tigers Dominate Welsh Cup Qualifier
Bangor Tigers surged into the Welsh Cup third round with a 5-1 thrashing of Mountain Rangers at Treborth Playing Fields. The Tier 4 side, leaders of the North Wales Coast West Premier Division, extended their winning streak to five matches with a commanding display.
Clarke and Co. Lead Charge
Tomos Clarke, the former CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876 captain, opened the scoring on 11 minutes before adding a second goal on 20. Both strikes came via assists from Harry Galeotti and Callum Graves. Dion Jones replied for Rangers on 24 minutes, but the Tigers quickly re-established their lead.
Second Half Domination
Lewis Clayton extended the lead on 38 minutes via an assist from Jamie McDaid. The midfielder then added a fourth goal on 51 minutes, with Graves converting a penalty on 54. McDaid sealed the win on 68 with a Galeotti assist. Mark Williams received a red card in the 53rd minute for Rangers.
